“Jack Wiles Memorial Scholarship” Minimum qualifications: Sophomore, junior, or senior premedical student with an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher. Preference will be given to students who are active members of the Premedical Society. Premedical students who wish to be considered for these scholarships should submit a resume, a 300-500 word essay describing why you are interested in medicine as a career, a supporting letter from your academic advisor, and one supporting letter from a course instructor to Dr. Tom Tomasi, Biology Department. All application materials can be emailed to TomTomasi@missouristate.edu. Your résumé should minimally include:
The deadline for applications is April 2. Awards will be made at the Premedical Society Banquet – contact the officers of the Premedical Society for the banquet date or visit their website http://organizations.missouristate.edu/premed/Events.htm. All winners must be present at the banquet or see Dr. Tomasi prior to the banquet. |
